日本最高峰の盆栽職人の庭園での盆栽体験

盆栽は、美しさとその内に秘められた自然の厳しさを表現した美術品です。
日本の伝統文化を表現する盆栽は、日本が世界に示すことのできる芸術として、いま新たに注目を浴びています。

隠れ家的な雰囲気を持つ美しい日本庭園で、盆栽の針金成形成を体験頂けます。
非日常的な落ち着いた時間を味わいに、足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。

【体験手順】
１．解説
園主の弟子の盆栽職人が盆栽の歴史等を解説します。
庭園の四季折々の表情もお楽しみください。

２．針金成形の説明
こちらが実演しながら、初心者でも分かり易く「成形」を説明します。
針金成形前に、盆栽の写真を撮っておきます。

３．成形体験
小さな盆栽の枝は非常に繊細で折れやすいです。
枝を折らないよう、少しずつ、慎重に針金を枝に巻き付け、枝を曲げ込みながら成形していきます。
この時間はとても緊張します。

④完成
完成した盆栽の写真を撮ります。
お茶を飲みながら、針金成形前との違いを、ビフォー／アフターでご覧いただきます。

一息ついたら、四季折々の表情を見せる庭園を散策してみてください。
※完成した盆栽をご購入希望の方は、現地で3000円をお支払いください

My husband and I did this workshop with our 11-year-old daughter. All three of us loved it.
We loved seeing examples by masters and being able to go hands-on ourselves. I believe our family has been converted and will try some novice attempts back home. Highly recommended.

I learned different categorizations of bonsai forms, distinction between commercial and traditional bonsai, starting steps, maintenance routine, and impact of seasonality.
Workshop part was well-organized. Every single step was well-motivated.

Great experience! It was great fun to learn how to appreciate bonsai, and it was informative to try my hand at pruning and shaping. If you've thought about getting into bonsai, but weren't sure where to start this is a good option.
Make sure to prepare for the weather - it was quite hot when I went and I shouldve brought a hat and a fan.
